Pricing, Straight Up
Money questions first, because that's usually what people want sorted before anything else.
Do you charge a call-out fee?
No. There's no call-out fee, ever, so the price you're quoted is for the fix, not the visit.
How do I pay?
Payment happens at the end, after you've inspected the finished work. Card or bank transfer are both fine, and the receipt comes through by email once the job's signed off.
How does your pricing work for drain jobs?
We give you a fair, upfront price based on what the job actually needs, and we don't charge by the hour. You approve the price before we start.
What does "$65 off your first service" cover?
New customers get $65 taken off the first job we do for them, on top of the fixed price we agree beforehand. It applies to the work itself, not the call-out, because there isn't one.

Licensing and Guarantees
Fair questions before you let anyone near your plumbing.
What does the lifetime labour warranty cover?
Our workmanship on that job, for as long as you own the property. Should a repair of ours ever give out, the return visit costs you nothing. On old drainage, where a quick patch can hide a fault for years, that guarantee matters.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes, NSW Plumbing Licence #292427C, with full insurance sitting behind every job. The licence spans water and gas both, so nothing on your property gets farmed out to a second contractor.
How experienced are you with drains?
15+ years' experience, most of it on Sydney's older clay and earthenware pipework, not just modern PVC.
Who actually turns up to the job?
A licensed plumber from our own team, never a subcontractor. One of our crew works almost exclusively on drains and sewers, so a tricky blockage usually lands with him.

Booking, Timing and Turnaround
Booking is quick, and here's the shape of how it runs from the first ring.
Do you work weekends and public holidays?
Yes. Blocked drains don't wait for a weekday, so we're open 24 hours including weekends and public holidays.
What happens after I call?
You describe the symptoms, we ask a couple of questions, and a time gets locked in. On the day, the plumber inspects first and explains the fault before asking you to approve anything.
How do I book?
One phone call does it. Ring (02) 9134 9075, tell us what's blocked, and we'll sort a slot, often for that same afternoon. Prefer to write it down? The form on the contact page works too.
Are you really open 24 hours?
Yes, around the clock. A real person answers the phone at any hour, and that includes 3am on a Sunday.

Drains Around Haberfield
The questions specific to this patch of the Inner West.
What suburbs do you service around Haberfield?
Our regular run covers Ashfield, Summer Hill, Leichhardt, Five Dock and Croydon, alongside Haberfield itself. - Ashfield - Summer Hill - Leichhardt - Five Dock - Croydon
Why do tree roots block so many Haberfield drains?
The suburb's mature street trees, planted when it was laid out as a garden estate, send roots into the joints of the old clay sewer lines. Each root that finds a joint widens it a little more every season, until the line closes over.
Why does my drain block again after heavy rain?
Parts of Haberfield sit in the Hawthorne Canal and Iron Cove Creek catchments, and the older stormwater pipes under those streets weren't sized for how hard Sydney rain can fall now. Heavy downpours push more water through the system than it can carry, and it backs up at the weakest point.
How local are you, really?
Local enough that Federation-era drainage is most of what we see each week. This corner of the Inner West is our regular run, and a Haberfield job rarely waits long for a van.
